This is what happens when I try to forcefully develop a style. As I mentioned in my previous deviation "Snow on Sunrise" I've been trying repeatedly to develop a more serious style and move away from the large eyes and more cutesy type pictures. This was the result.

This drawing was actually done quite some time ago during a lecture at uni when I quickly sketched it down on some A3 pad. I liked how it looked and decided to finish it off, but knowing me, I ended up procrastinating a lot more than I should have.

Personally, I'm quite happy with it, and I learnt a lot drawing it. It was composed using multiple different techniques, such as the use of textures and softer painting styles. Also, I really happened to like the way I CG'd the eyes. They are by no means difficult, but when I tried to add more levels into it, they only made it worse, so I'm going to gladly stick to CGing all my eyes like this from here on in.

I don't know, I feel like I'm at least moving forward with my style, but as you'll see with my next deviation, I'm still learning a lot in terms of a style.

By the way, the deviation name "Feng" is the Chinese way of saying "Wind". I dunno, it's nothing advanced or original by any means, but I'm Chinese, so I felt like acting the part once in awhile. Also thanks to Jason for writing up my Chinese name with his calligraphy skills lol.
